8/20/2003 - Melia made her very first trip to Seattle and met many new lady friends this week!  Grandma Marlene was kind enough to host an open house where Melia was the center of attention.  She seemed quite content throughout the afternoon's event; she is a natural social butterfly.  Thanks to all who came to visit!!!  Melia also got to spend an evening with Grandma Laird at her house and Great Grandma Christensen also dropped in for a chat.

We went to the beach again yesterday!!!  We went to the same spot down on the Columbia as last week (see last weeks post) and it worked out GREAT.  Melia really got into it this week...as soon as she heard Jack Kamm was going to be there, she put on a swimming suit and a fancy grass skirt to catch his eye... IT WORKED!!!
